SPEED UP RACING TEAM

Team Speed Up was founded in 2010 by the former Grand Prix motorcyclist Luca Boscoscuro and entered the newly formed Moto2 class of the world championship. In the team’s first year they achieved three wins with their S10 motorcycle, based on a FTR Moto M210 frame, ridden by Andrea Iannone and Gábor Talmácsi.

In 2011 the Speed Up team elected to enter an FTR M211 chassis ridden by Pol Espargaro and Valentin Debise. Since 2012 Speed Up started building its own chassis, the S12, supplying the Speed Master and QMMF Racing teams, winning two races with Iannone. 2013 saw the debut of the SF13 chassis, fielded by three teams – Forward Racing, AGR and QMMF – but achieving a podium with Simone Corsi.

In 2014 and 2015 Speed Up participated in the Moto2 World Championship with its own prototype with Sam Lowes and again, supplying the QMMF Racing Team.

In 2016 Team Speed Up will take part in the World Championship with Simone Corsi.

The Roman rider rode with Speed Up Racing Team also for 2017 season with the young Spaniard Augusto Fernandez as team-mate. Simone Corsi managed to grab the 9th place of the final World Championship ranking, while Fernandez was able to reach the zone points, as he was expected to do.

Danny Kent and Fabio Quartararo are the new riders of Speed Up Racing Team in 2018 Moto2 World Championship.
