INCREDIBLE PODIUM FOR SIMONE CORSI AT THE FIRST RACE OF THE MOTO2 CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE COMMERCIAL BANK GRAND PRIX OF QATAR
The first race of the season of the Moto2 class has just ended at Losail International Circuit of Qatar. Simone Corsi and Speed Up Team are on the third step of the podium. The race was characterize from a “jump start” of various riders on the first rows of the grid who will be then forced to “ride through”. Simone Corsi did not waste the opportunity and, clever for not falling into the same trap, he took the way and did not stop until the finish line. Next race will be in Argentina in two weeks and rider and team will work hard to back to back to do well!”
“It was a crazy race today because of the “jump start” of some riders. I did not start the race very well, but after some overtaking and the “ride through” for Lowes, Rins and other riders before me, I could get closer to the first positions. I am very happy with the result, we did our best. We got very lucky, but luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity! Now we need to go ahead and keep working hard!”

“That was not what we were expecting fot the qualifying session. I feel we can improve again overnight and hopefully in the warm up we can find something, qualifying is something, the race is different. I think tomorrow we can do a good job”.
