UNLUCKY RACE FOR LOWES ON THE AMERICAN TRACK
The Moto2 race of the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix, declared wet by the Race Direction, has just finished, favorable conditions for Sam Lowes. The English rider, who started from the third row of the grid in seventhplace, makes a good start and from the first lap gets the first position after afew laps passes in the sixth and when he was starting to close the gap withthe riders in front of him at four laps to the end, crashes and cannot finish his American race.

“I’m very upset for what happened today, I felt I could go to the podium,even after the warm-up I was confident, then the conditions changed, therace was declared wet, although during the race the track was totally dried, the bike was completely different than this morning, I had no grip and I hadchattering, which I didn’t have all weekend, I tried, and gave my bestalthougt I was not physically at my 100%. I want to leave this race behindand back strong at Brno “.
QP OF RED BULL INDIANAPOLIS GRAND PRIX: SEVENTH PLACE FOR LOWES
The qualifying practice of Moto2 has just ended at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Sam Lowes not at the 100% of his shape because of tonsillitis that does not let him up, concluded with the seventh fastest time, in 1’37.038. The British rider had very positive feelings with his SF15, but towards the end of thesession, after the tire change was unable to improve his time because of a lack of grip, but the pace is consistent and tomorrow will battle to get to the podium.

“At start of qualifying I felt really good then when we went for the final push andchanged for new tyre I had no grip and couldn’t improve my lap time. I’m not worried as our race pace is good and I know i can make a good job. Thanks to my Team, tomorrow will be a good day”.
LOWES SECOND ON THE FREE PRACTICE OF REDBULL INDIANAPOLIS GRAND PRIX
The MotoGP World Championship comes back after the summer break on the tenth round of the season at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Sam Lowes concludes the day with an excellent second place in the free practice session ofthe afternoon with a lap time of 1’37.295, having clearly improved the time recorded in the first session. Despite the fever and tonsillitis the Englishman has a good pace and a good feeling with the SF15.
