“I’m happy how it went today, honestly if we had not had bad luck in qualifying we could fight with the first, but I’m happy because I made a good race, I was strong and I passed many riders. Today I felt good on the bike, the feeling was good and I managed to get a good result after a difficult weekend. I look forward to go to Silverstone to race at my home Grand Prix! ”

SAM LOWES – 13rd – 2’02.855
“Obviously is not a good qualifying for us, we had a few small problems, to be honest I did four, five laps in the middle of the session and my first lap and I was quite good ,and then we came in for new tires, new front new rear and I think we would have done not so bad lap time, obviously not pole position but maybe not so far from these guys, so I think we would have been maybe second row and then I would have been quite happy. We had a small mechanical problem which is no mistake of anybody, just unlucky. In the end I was lucky because I managed to stay on the bike, we lost the session but we have tomorrow to improve the bike and the good thing is that qualifying means something but in the end means nothing. We need to make a good warm up trying to find nice solution with the bike and of course will be a though race but I need to do a good job and try to go forward andmake something in the race, we look forward to it and should do a good job”!

SAM LOWES – 7°- IN 2’03.373
“Was not so bad to be honest, we struggled a lot in the afternoon, but when you see that many guys make just one or two fast laps at the end and I did my best lap in lap ten more like the race, I think is quite good. For tomorrow I feel quite positive,I feel good, this track is a little bit different to some tracks, maybe it takes a little bit longer in riding in a good way, but when you look at the laps and the consistency, I think tomorrow we can make a good step. I have a good feeling for the qualifying and for the race even more, because we are working in this direction”.
