SAM LOWES -5th
“I’m happy how it went today, honestly if we had not had bad luck in qualifying we could fight with the first, but I’m happy because I made a good race, I was strong and I passed many riders. Today I felt good on the bike, the feeling was good and I managed to get a good result after a difficult weekend. I look forward to go to Silverstone to race at my home Grand Prix! ”

GRAND PRIX QUALIFYING CZECH REPUBLIKY: THIRTEENTH POSITION FOR LOWES

The qualifying practice of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic has concluded complicated day for Sam Lowes and Team Speed Up. The Briton has struggled to find the feeling withhis SF15 despite the changes made by the technicians and concluded today with the thirteenth time after a technical failure put an end to his qualifying as he was fighting to geta good grid position. The technicians of Speed Up will use the warm up of tomorrow to test other solutions for the prototype of the Italian factory and to improve Sam’ feelings with the bike. The weather forecast for tomorrow says rain from the morning, a condition that can reshuffle the cards, favoring the Briton that will give his best to cross the finish linebetween the top riders.

SAM LOWES – 13rd – 2’02.855
“Obviously is not a good qualifying for us, we had a few small problems, to be honest I did four, five laps in the middle of the session and my first lap and I was quite good ,and then we came in for new tires, new front new rear and I think we would have done not so bad lap time, obviously not pole position but maybe not so far from these guys, so I think we would have been maybe second row and then I would have been quite happy. We had a small mechanical problem which is no mistake of anybody, just unlucky. In the end I was lucky because I managed to stay on the bike, we lost the session but we have tomorrow to improve the bike and the good thing is that qualifying means something but in the end means nothing. We need to make a good warm up trying to find nice solution with the bike and of course will be a though race but I need to do a good job and try to go forward andmake something in the race, we look forward to it and should do a good job”!

LOWES SEVENTH AT THE FP2 OF THE bwin GRAND PRIX OF CZECH REPUBLIKY

The MotoGP World Championship returns to Europe on the occasion of the eleventh round of the season at the Czech circuit of Brno. In the afternoon the temperatures reached 33 degrees and the asphalt 47. Sam Lowes has concluded with the seventh fastest time in 2’03,373, a crash closed in advance his second free practice session, just as he was improving his lap time, the day was still positive and tomorrow the goal is to improve the feeling with the SF15.!

SAM LOWES – 7°- IN 2’03.373
“Was not so bad to be honest, we struggled a lot in the afternoon, but when you see that many guys make just one or two fast laps at the end and I did my best lap in lap ten more like the race, I think is quite good. For tomorrow I feel quite positive,I feel good, this track is a little bit different to some tracks, maybe it takes a little bit longer in riding in a good way, but when you look at the laps and the consistency, I think tomorrow we can make a good step. I have a good feeling for the qualifying and for the race even more, because we are working in this direction”.
