GOOD PERFORMANCE FOR COLLIN VEIJER AT THE AUTODROMO DEL MUGELLO
The second round of the Italian Speed Championship took place at the Mugello International Circuit.
Great effort by Collin and his staff since the free practice on Thursday during which they worked hard to improve the feeling with the bike. The front of the bike seemed to be causing problems for Veijer, but the young Dutch didn’t give up and took the tenth position on the grid. After a difficult start in Race 1, the Speed Up Junior team’s rider fought with the second group and crossed the finish line in eighth position. Race 2 was instead characterized by rain. The track and driving conditions were different, but Collin found a great feeling during the 2 warm up laps granted by the direction. He started well reaching the fifth position at the first corner. Unfortunately due to a small mistake at turn 4 of the first lap Collin crashed out finishing his race.
