THIRD POSITION FOR LOWES AT GRAN PREMIO MOVISTAR DE ARAGON

FOURTH PLACE FOR LOWES AT QUALIFYING PRACTICE OF GRAND PREMIO MOVISTAR DE ARAGON
The qualifications of the Grand Prix Movistar hast just concluded at the suggestive Motorland Aragon of Alcaniz. “I’m little disappointed not to be in the front row after a crash and everything, getting the forth position, and being so close to the front row is not bad. I think I feel really good for tomorrow, I did a lot of long runs, the Team did a really really good job because I crashed and I brought the bike back and they managed to get me back out on track that was really good. I think we have worked very well as team this week end, we put ourselves in a good position for the race, forth on the grid, is good, we can win from there, I’m looking forward to battle in the race, I think we have a good chance for the podium, I’m happy to be there and I think we can have a good fight”.

Extremely positive day for Sam Lowes and Team Speed Up at the Motorland of Aragon. The Briton was among the protagonists of the first day of the Grand Prix Movistar, leading the first practice session with a lap timeof 1’53.700, he was able to lower his time despite the significant increase ofatmospheric temperature, 27 ° and asphalt, 41 ° Sam concluded the FP2 in5th position with a lap time of 1’53.541 and a good feeling with his Speed Up.

“I’am really happy with today in the hot conditions this afternoon we were quite strong, we used the hard tyres and made ’53 which is good, then inthe new soft tyres we improved a little bit but we I had some traffic and not nice rhythm. We didn’t show our full potential but this is good because is only Friday and I feel happy on the bike I feel relaxed, I made long run in a good way. I like this track, I think we have a good possibility to make a goodrace, I’m looking forward to tomorrow. The Team have done a great job, hopefully we can improve a little bit in the morning and fight for pole position”.
UNFORTUNATE RACE FOR SAM LOWES AND SPEED UP TEAM
The thirteenth round of the season has just ended at the crowded Marco Simoncelli Misano circuit, the day started well for Team Speed Up and Sam Lowes, with a great warm-up in which he scored the fastest time, had a strong pace for the entire round and technicians very happy with the setting of the SF15. The number 22, who started from the fourth row of the grid, made a good start and maintained the position, but after four laps, most probably a debris entered between the tire and the rear fender breaking it and making Sam loss of four, five seconds, after herealized that was not anything serious, the Briton started pushing again but when there were few laps to the end the fender exploded and Marshall stopped him putting the end to his race.

“I am very disappointed with how the race went, mainly because the warm-up went well, the feeling with the bike was very good and also the pace was consistent, unfortunately in the race I felt something strange and I lost some time, but I was going well, and even later, when I realized I could push I gave gas, I felt I could reach the front group, but in the end my fender exploded due, we think, to something between the tire and the fender, I could continue but I was given black flag. POSITIVE QUALIFYING PRACTICE FOR SAM LOWES AT THE HOME GRAND PRIX OF TEAM SPEED UP
