COMMERCIAL GRAND PRIX OF QATAR: LOWES MISSES THE PODIUM

Almost perfect weekend for Sam Lowes and Team Speed Up, after three days of record the best time of the circuit, the domain of practice and the pole position in
qualifying, the dream of the first podium in Moto2 fades due to a slip at the second lap. The balance despite the mistake is still positive: the feeling with the
bike is excellent, the tracks are, after a year of apprenticeship, known and the British rider feels strong and excited for the next appointment in Austin in two
weeks.

POLE POSITION AND NEW CIRCUIT BEST LAP FOR LOWES IN THE QUALIFYING PRACTICE OF THE GRAND PRIX OF QATAR

In the qualifying practice of the Grand Prix of Qatar Sam Lowes get the first pole position of his career in Moto2. The British rider at the second year in the World
Championship has had a consistent pace throughout the session and a great feeling with his SF15 and managed to score a new time record further increase
the time of FP3 stopping the chrono of his best lap in 1’59.423 and getting the first
position.

“I am Very happy for the pole position because the team worked fantastic since the end of the last season, we have worked really good and they gave me a fantastic
bike and also I after the end of the last season know what I needed to improve and luckily I have worked good in winter. I am sorry for the small mistake with the crash but It was only because I went too slow with cold tyres, but I’s normal in
racing, I am really really happy because all week end I have been fast and I know that tomorrow I can fight definitely for my first podium and hopefully my first win in Moto2. Thank you very much everybody “

NEW CIRCUIT BEST LAP FOR LOWES, LEADER OF THE SECOND DAY OF FREE PRACTICE OF QATAR GRAND PRIX

The third free practice session of Qatar Grand Prix has just ended on the picturesque track of Losail, Sam Lowes has led the day after a battle royal with the
French rider Zarco. The combative British rider was able to further lower the new Circuit best lap that he scored in the first practice session of yesterday and today
ended with a new lap time record with 1’59.541 and a great first position.

“I am very happy with today because we worked for the race with really good results, we always used the hard tire to see what pace we could keep throughout the session, we also tried different settings for both the shock and the fork, tomorrow we will evaluate the data to find the best settings for the qualifying, I want to thank you the team for the excellent work. “
